Quotation terms, liability and shipping conditions for sea freight shipments handled by Infinity Logistics.

Sea Freight Terms & Conditions

Validity: This quote is valid for 7 days from the date of issuance, subject to space and rate availability at the time of booking.
Charges Included: Quoted rates include ocean freight only, unless otherwise specified. Charges such as origin/destination handling, customs duties, customs inspection, port charges, documentation fees, and delivery are excluded unless stated.
Cargo Details: The quote is based on the cargo details (weight, volume, and commodity) provided. Any discrepancies may result in revised charges.
Transit Time: Transit times are estimates and subject to change due to vessel schedules, port congestion, weather, or customs clearance delays.
Container Detention/Demurrage: Any charges incurred due to delays in loading/unloading beyond the free time allowed by carriers will be billed separately.
Documentation: Shipper must ensure all necessary documents are provided prior to shipment. Please note that any delays resulting from incomplete or incorrect documentation are beyond our responsibility. The Original Stamped/Signed documents needs to be couriered to us within 10 days from the date of clearance to avoid fines.
Insurance: Insurance is not included unless requested in writing and confirmed. We strongly recommend insuring all cargo.
Liability: Liability is limited in accordance with applicable international conventions. Full-value insurance is advised for comprehensive coverage.
Storage: 7 Days storage free period for General Cargo and NO Storage free days for IMCO/DG/FOOD.
IMCO: Subject to acceptance from carrier at the time of confirmation.
Cancellation or Dead Freight: If shipment is cancelled after issuing Booking confirmation there would be Cancellation Fee & Dead Freight as trucking was already arranged.
Cargo Packing: The cargo must be packed in a seaworthy manner to prevent damage and misplacement.
